Hi everyone! My name is Reut Brateman and I’m an 11th-grade student at Yachad High School. I’m very excited to be one of your chairs in the WHO 1 Adolescent Mental Health committee! 

I love Model UN because it exposes me to topics and people I never would’ve encountered otherwise. Moreover, having moved here from Michigan 3 years ago, I enjoy that everything is done in English because that is what I feel most confident in.

I like participating in Model UN because it shows it's not what you say, but how you say it: In Model UN every crazy opinion can sound acceptable with enough creativity, In addition, it helps you speak English confidently in front of an audience and negotiate.
